mbam ip protection

Malware bytes anti malware now comes with a new feature called as Ip Protection which blocks all images that may contain threats and blocks some known infected sites. But i guess its not a good choice as its unable to differentiate what is good and what is bad.

For example: I was on a social community website and while browsing, i suddenly got this message and the page wont load anymore. When i disabled the ip protection and refreshed the page, the page opens fine. However, there is no images or harmful things as such.


IMHO, Ip protection feature is not effective.

Another example: our own forum was blocked. LOL.

that ip in the message is not sevenforums' , does it give more details about blocked content?

No it doesn't give me any more messages but it appeared when i was browsing Sevenforums. As you rightly said, it blocked messages. Again, i m sure a text message cannot contain any harmful things in it.
