Java
A week or so ago I ran complete scans with Avast, SAS, MBAM pro and Spybot & all were OK. Then ran an Avast boot-time scan...log scan report below:
File C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Windows\tmp.edb|>.\.\.\Setup.exe Error 42127 {CAB archive is corrupted.}

How in the world would I get viruses in boot-time?
What does this corrupted archive mean and does something need to be done with it?
Java site verification said that I had the latest update 6.30. It also appears in control panel. A week later Java is updating 6.30 again but the curious thing is that at the top of the installation box, it read 6.29.
In 'manage add-ons' version 6.30 is also listed using I.E. 32 bit but in I.E. 64 bit, it only has version 6.0.17 enabled but (not verified). What does this mean and doesn't 64 bit get updated when Java updates?
After Java updates, a notice appears and says: This software is already been installed on your computer. Would you like to reinstall it?
Why would they ask this if they just installed it? To play it safe I click 'yes' for lack of a reasonable reason, but it doesn't make sense.
Have reran all the above scans again and all were clean.
Thanks in advance for your help.
