win 7 internet security 2012 has taken over my laptop.

I have tried to run mse and malware but both pop up for a second then vanish.
spybot did work but found 2 security files which I fixed but still have problem.
It has the microsoft logo but you have to pay to install it.
It constantly warns off computer hijacks etc and flashes up the pay here screen.
it warns on firefox and crome that these sites are infected.
Help please to get rid off it.
oh it has installed it self on my tool bar bottom left off screen
I have looked through programs to find it but cannot.
When you go to action centre it says virus protection turned off turn on now
You say yes and it takes you to the pay here page again.
Ccleaner will not work too just tried to use that it to vanished after a second.
Sorry I am all over the place just adding stuff as i find it and do not know what you need to help me.

I do not have access to a printer at the moment so will have to get a friend to print off the instructions then will try the remove thing. I will report back.

I have used this website for when i got infected with this exact virus.

    It works perfectly.

At least it did for me :)

If you need any help just let me know :)

About your printer problem obviously you have another computer because you are talking to us on it

is it a laptop by chance? If it is you can just take it to the room your infected comp is and use the instructions from it.

You'll need more than a printer. :) With whatever computer you are using to access your topic here, you'll also need to be able to download a couple of tools so please read the topic carefully and follow the links to the needed programs.

I was accessing this site with the infected laptop. but did not have access to a clean comp or printer at the time so I had to find other ways off sorting things.
I did not understand a lot off what was written but with a old lap top and a friends printer managed to get all things done.
I think this laptop is now clean, as all problems have stopped. but all problems stopped after asking the question on here. I did have the pop ups but most off the redirection had stopped.
I have run all the bleeping comp told me to and now I can run antimalware ccleaner and mse
Why did these programs not find and intercept this virus malware what ever it is called?
I have run antimalware on every file or pic I have dl in the last 7 days and none show any problems.
I am lost where it came from
I wonder if it is still somewhere in my laptop as it went so easy
I do not have, never have and never will possess a credit card so I find it difficult to buy things on here and 99.99% off the time I never need to so buying extra safety is a problem.
so I hope my lappie is clean again now and I have discovered even if you do back up your comp it still is not safe.
    oh well such is life
Thank you to all that helped me
I just wished I knew more about computers so I cud help others as U lot do.
    Thank U all again

    Sounds like you got it

If you want to be more on the safe side you can look in task manager to see if any of its names are there

The names are usually 3 random letters for its name

But be sure it is the virus as a lot of windows applications have 3 letter names

If you can post a picture of the tasks running and i could take a look for you :)

But other than that it sounds like you are clean.

P.s. If you think about it this virus is anything but easy to remove

I think the one my comp got was a little more advanced as one of the steps for me was to rename some of the exe's to com's

Glad you've got it cleaned. Those fake anti-virus's are some of the worst.

Where would be a common site where "Windows 7 Internet Security 2012" would be picked up? In other words, any special places to avoid?
