    Windows 7 Firewall Enough?

I've seen a lot of positive posts about Commodo Firewall. I like to be protected, but also do not want anything eating up resources that's basically 'overkill'.

    Opinions/Advice?

Comodo often causes BSOD's I would not install it. Win 7's firewall is fine.

Are you behind a router of is the computer directly connected to the modem you use to talk with the interwebs? If you are behind a router, then the only work a firewall will have on your system is outbound protection...aka., pestering you every time an application wants to connect to the internet.

For home users, I always recommend Windows 7's built in Firewall. That and coupled with a few other security programs like MSE and Spyware blaster.

Windows' firewall is hassle-free anyway. :)

Windows firewall, Microsoft Security Essentials, Malwarebytes and keeping away from dodgy websites and links should keep your computer safe from the bad stuff.

The inbuilt Windows Firewall is considered appropriate.
A lot of us use it here.
