Windows 7 - Access Denied for Documents & Settings folder

| | Access Denied for Documents & Settings folder Despite logged in with Administrator privileges, I can not access this folder. Any reasons. Try to change the Access right for this, but can not change. Where else should I look? |

| | ...Hipster...seriously? SERIOUSLY?! There is no reason someone needs to take ownership of "Documents and Settings" or change permissions on it. YOU SHOULD KNOW THIS! All one needs to do is go to "C:\Users" that is all. You do not need access to "Documents and Settings" it is a Junction for the "Users" directory. And yes, this is my pet peeve. Its been know since Windows Vista, yet people are still giving bad advice concerning this. Oooo just take ownership of it...No. |
