MSE always saying I need to do a scan

I just unistalled then reinstalled : workes ok now :) Thanks all

hey all, even after uninstalling ccleaner it would still kick the same message out about needing to scan. i have also had problems with mse and the MPKSL driver problem. seems they fixed that one and now there is a new one. i also run vista and do not have these problems with it. only my w7 box. poorguy

Just unistall MSE and then reinstall.... 1st use the MSE unistaller http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/p...6-fa08d80725a4

The problem I was having was caused by CCleaner. In CCleaner go to Applications> Windows. Uncheck Both MS AntiMalware and MS Security Client. That cured the problem for me.
