Hi.Been reading a lot about malwarebytes also on their forums,Some members are for upgrading to malwarebytes pro.
What do the members of this forum think of this?,Is it a good thing to go for the pro or stay with the free one?
Update please.
Many thanks in advance.

I have used both and I find that the free version only lacked one nice feature and that is a flash scan feature which is amazingly fast. Otherwise the two are more similar then different. If you can find the full (pro) version on sale then I would suggest it otherwise just run the free version.

The paid version protects in real time, has a scheduler, updates automatically, and has a malicious web site blocker.

If you look around with Google, you can probably find a discount coupon for the paid version. It is a lifetime license. I went to the paid version a couple of years ago and have no regrets.

I'm with ignatzatsonic on this one and honestly believe the paid for version is a good investment.

it is v good; some might think the paid is overkill; it can be very fastidious in blocking everything it thinks in its database might be harmful; some might say that's good lol.

Good program Malwarebytes...

Paid versus Free?
I would always choose & recommend the paid version.

Here is a good deal on Malwarebytes Pro $13.99

Newegg.com - Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Lifetime

The Pro license is good for life but can only be used on 1 PC at a time but can be moved to another PC. I have it running in realtime with NIS 2012 and it works great. I have it set to check for updates every 3 hours and after and update it runs a Flash Scan. I also have it run a Quick Scan once a Month.

EDIT: I see you are in the UK so check this price. The first one is marketed by DSOLUTION and they supply the support under contract with Malwarebytes. The 2nd one has free shipping so the price is about the same.

Just a warning. Even with the PRO version's real time protection you need to run an AV as well.

Set up Malwarebytes PRO
How often should I setup MBAM PRO to scan and how often should I change my antivirus to scan? I scan using my antivirus every day since I am delusional that I might get a infection. Side note: I finally will get to start using the software that I reccomend but don't use. Yippee!!

Malwarebytes
Due to a shrinking wallet, I am switching from pay programs to free ones whenever possible. I went to the download site for Malwarebytes. There was a free program and a pay one. I downloaded the free one and it appears it is a Trial Program. I was under the impression Malwarebytes was a free...

MSE vs Malwarebytes
I see that people often recommend doing a full scan with MBA. Is MBA better than MSE (talking about the full scans). If so, how much better?

Malwarebytes
Hi good folks. Today after 1 year I downloaded the latest version on Malwarebytes and did a scan. My system was clean. I have been using MSE and avast for the past year. Never had a virus or malware in that time to report. However, avast had blocked me from a few sites which I decided to concur...
