Avast Vs MS System Essentials

I'm currently using Avast and MS System Essentials. Are they doing the same thing? Should I be using only one program? Thanks

Hi,

Yes, you should only use one. I assume you mean MS Security Essentials, and not System Essentials?

Both have excellent reputations, use that one that suites you best.
