I want proof on all of those statements. :)

Want the best antivirus software? Compare antivirus software solutions now.

Also if you dont want to believe the facts coming from the nod site, try googling.

Believe me I've tried them all, norton is not faster, and uses the most memory. NOD32 is updated daily

I've tried mcaffee, uses too much resources, i've tried them all, believe me, NOD is the smallest, most efficient, don't believe me? download the 30 day trial and see for yourself.

    I've done my testing.

eset NOD32 has consistently proven itself as the best av software available. it has recieved Virus Bulletin's VB100 logo in all but 3 tests since 1998. Norton failed the most recent test and was not awarded with their logo. Kaspersky has failed 17 times. Avast has failed 23 times. No software has passed more times than NOD32.

That also sums it up pretty well.

My recommendations, Microsoft Security Essentials (I think this has replaced Forefront and its free compared to priced).

Id also recommend nod32 either just their av or their security.

btw defender isnt av, its just malware.

Right now I'm using ESET Smart Security 4. I would recommend this .

Loads up in seconds, does not slow down PC with annoying pop ups and alerts. Scheduled daily scanning.

Is Microsoft Security Essentials publicly available yet? I haven't found much but Beta tests and leaked copies.
