Norton 2009 products now work with windows 7!

Good news guys, Norton has finally made updates to their 2009 products.
Norton 2009 products that now work with Windows 7:
Norton AntiVirus 2009
Norton Internet Security 2009
Norton Gaming Edition 2009

Ive been using Norton gaming edition 2009 lately, and WOW! What a HUGE improvement from Norton 2004-2008 products!
Its VERY light, doesn't slow down computer. Quick scan takes at most 40 seconds and has a "gamer mode" which is pretty sweet.

Nah Dude Norton has changed since version 2004-2008.
Right now, Norton only uses two processes:
ccSvchst.exe CPU: 00 Memory: 4,184k
ccSvchst.exe CPU: 00 Memory 2,700k

Quicks scans in less than 40 seconds, Updates Every 5-15 minutes, WAY better detection rate than versions 2004-2008.
Norton has REALLY improved.

Trying to prove to people that Norton is good now, is like trying to ride a bull to the moon. Half of them refuse to try it out and claim its still bad (even if they haven't tried it) and the other half just don't give a damn.

I'm with you that Norton Gamer Edition is very nice, I used its free trials for a while (did a lot of reinstalls so I never hit that 15-day mark hehe), but now I use Microsoft Security Essentials.

14 days left here.
Then ill go back to NOD32, but to be honest, this seems to be BETTER than NOD32.
I tried security essentials, first beta in windows 7 64-bit. IMO it used a bit to much RAM (50MB) but was overall nice. The newer beta versions are for SURE much lighter!

They also finally updated their Firefox add-ons (IPS/Toolbar) so make sure to run an update even if not on windows 7. The version I am running after update is 16.7.2.10.
But really guys NIS 09 is excellent. It's like you almost don't have anything installed. Its better than Kaspersky 09 I had before it and definitely better than the G-Data IS 2010 that I recently tried out.
