    Administrator's rights altered

Greetings from Finland for the first time!

HP Compag 615 + Win 7 Home Premium 32 bit SP1. Some day unexpectedly my privileges as administrator have changed. I have originally installed the OS and been administrator since then.
I am using Avira Antivir Free, which is updated on daily basis.

    The mystery:
    1. I can't update some programs, which I have earlier installed, like Adobe Flash Player
    2. I can't install some new software, like latest version of Adobe Reader
    3. I can't run some software, which I have downloaded, like PE Builder,
    because "You need administrator rights".

I hope you can help me in solving this fundamental dilemma!

    Many thanks in advance.

Have you tried right clicking on the program and selecting to run as Administrator?
