| | Post you computer program/ firewall set up!! Computer? Desk top or labtop Anti Virus anti malware network tools hard drive memory registry cleaners windows ver tweakers anything I missed? your basic set up that runs all the time and how it works for you. Avast with security essentials. Anti Malware (I run once in awhile) labtop btw. windows 7 with basic windows firewall. Toshiba labtop. Its slow multitasking but over all good computer feels secure. |

| | Win 7 64 SUA Chrome Sandboxie Winpatrol Private firewall at default  Computer seems fast enough for me for a 2yr old Toshiba 505. However my only concern would be for a possible conflict down the road between Sandboxie (experimental 64 mode) and a Windows update, or Private firewall and Winpatrol.  |

Keep the backup HD offline when not making backups. If anything happens to the HD, OS, data, etc., it is much more likely you can recover. Backups work well for me, and i think of this as another protection layer. SF has many tutorials about backups. |
