    Anti-virus and multiple accounts

    Hi,

I have never used more than one account on my PC but recently I used the sevenforums.com excellent tutorial to set up a standard account on my mother's PC for use by the kids, so I could install Windows Live Family Safety Filter. It is all working well but just wondered: Will an anti-virus scan from the Administrator account also check the standard account I have created, or will I have to scan both accounts individually?

    Temp,

Yes it will. 1 scan is good enough. a quick scan will scan less, but a full scan will take more time. a custom scan will allow you to choose exactly what you want to scan.
