Restore of EFS Encrypted File 'access denied'
About a week ago I played with a directory ie. encrypted it, saved my certificate on my machine on my account (one one on computer). I then tested the restore after using windows backup. It would not give me access to that 'file location'.
I am wondering if it is because the files existed prior to encryption on the backup then when I encrypted the directory, windows backup screwed up.
Any ideas? Thankfully it was just a test directory so no harm done but I am not going to use EFS again, ever, not unless I know what went wrong, just too damned risky.
