Why does SuperAntiSpyware Portable keep running an installer?

That's what I want to know. Downloaded 2 different versions and both pop up an installer instead of just running the scanner.

They changed it, it's no longer a portable, but rather a randomly named installer. Quite odd, but I guess they wanted to sell licenses.

But as mentioned in link. Click on the blue link at bottom:

If you have already purchased a license to the SUPERAntiSpyware Portable Scanner Technicians Edition click here to download your product.

And then either click the or right click save target as if you just get a screen full of text.

Worked for me, not sure if this will change, but for now, you get the technicians version. A Guy
