    Full hard drive encryption

Can you recommend a Windows 7 compatible encryption program that will encrypt the whole hard drive? I checked the truecrypt website, but Windows 7 is not listed as supported yet. I'm currently using RC1 and when I get my RTM copies they will be Home Premium (so not Bitlocker).

Thanks for the list. I'm hoping others who are actually using disk encryption will post here. I want to be reasonably certain that the product I try is Windows 7 compatible before I start.

Once i used the inbuilt bitlocker to encrypt my 4 GB flash drive, it took more than 45 mins. Whole HDD? I cant imagine.

Windows 7 Bitlocker is awesome, it takes roughly three hours (I think, I didn't really time it) for a 320 GB HDD.

    Reasons for it's awesomeness.

1: Performance, It doesn't cause my HD videos to stutter like vista bitlocker.

2: more features, you can set any HDD to automaticaly unlock on startup or you can manualy unlock with a USB key or by user created password (Unlocking the windows partition via password is not supported). If you have two computers using bit locker and have an external HDD, you can set that external HDD to unlock automaticaly when connected to any of the two computers.

3: Key managment, it is very easy and highley usefull.

4: Built in, you don't have to rely on 3 party software to decrypt or unlock your drives especialy when you may need to restore your windows partition image.

The downside is availability is limited to "Ultimate".

So far the best looking option for Windows 7 is DiskCryptor. It's open source, and supports Windows 7 RC1 x86 & x64.
