Deleting protected folders

I have some folders "protected" by TrustedInstaller (Windows 7 Ultimate x64). I can't seem to set the permissions in any way that will allow me to delete the damn folders.

I remember having found a tool that would delete any file/folder under XP years ago, does such a thing exist for Windows 7?

Generally if a folder has such protections, it is needed. BUT, if you are sure they can be safely deleted. Try Unlocker, or Lock Hunter. You have tried to take ownership I assume by your 1st post?
