Multiple threads doesn't help you get your problem solved, go back to your other thread and take it one step at a time, follow directions and ask when you don't understand.

Answering questions that are asked of you also is very important.

I saw it, but you should keep it in ONE thread so your problem can get solved.

Bouncing around the forum doesn't get you any closer to solving your problem.

@ vegasKid: Please don't yell at folks trying to help you. Perhaps you hit your CapsLock by mistake, if so - how 'bout reading what you write and NOT posting in all caps - thanks.

I agree with derekimo, a shotgun approach to get answers is NOT productive. Sure, you get lots of replies, but that just makes it confusing; a piece here, another piece there. One problem, one thread all the way thru to resolution or you give up. Either way, the thread you open should be marked solved to help others understand what was done to solve the issue and what the outcome was. thanks again

Are you restoring from a restore partition or do you have the actual Win 7 OS disks? If you had a bad enough virus or rootkit, it could have corrupted the restore partition or compromised other parts of the OS, in which case your best bet would be to wipe the HD & do a clean install.
(Provided you have the disks. If not, you may wish to contact your vendor about obtaining those.)

    Clean Install Windows 7
