Not the answer you are looking for, but here is what I would do:
1. Uninstall Norton
2. Install MSE which is the only security software that I use, recommend, install.

1. Download Norton removal tool first, and run it to uninstall Norton, and then restart your computer.
2. Download Norton 360 V6
3. Activate it.
about install Norton 360:
