Need An Opinion On Anti-Viral Software
For years my family used Trend Micro and Webroot(together) on our computers. My father then bought a new computer, and got a free trial of Symantec and stuck with them. I bought a lap top and installed Webroot & Trend Micro BUT they both ended up being very resource heavy and would slow down my machine(which should not be so, and I have yet to find an answer to that little issue), so I installed AVG.
Recently I have been having issues with AVG such as Windows telling me AVG is not active. This was just a circle of insanity because I would activate AVG, then AVG would tell me I don't have the right user rights to activate AVG and it would just be a cycle of this. I haven't worried about this much thought because AVG is expiring in about a month and I've been thinking about going back to Webroot & Trend Micro which has worked just fine on the other computers in the house. However I am worried that it will again bog down my system.
I was also thinking if there really is a need for Webroot & AVG together installed on one computer. I know nowadays both AV programs cover alot of spectrum of internet security and I just wanted to know what everyone else's experiences was with these 3 pieces of software (AVG, Trend, Webroot).
Thanks.
