PC Tools Firewall PLus 6.0.0.69 released

PC Tools Firewall Plus 6.0.0.69 has been released and officially supports Windows 7 x86 and x64. Haven't tried it yet as PrivateFirewall 6.1 has been working perfectly for me. I'd be interested to hear how this new release behaves though - I had problems with the beta.

Tried PC Tools Threat fire x64 beta.
Had many problems with it hence uninstalled it. Will try this firewall tonight.
    Thanks for the heads up.

Have you tried the latest Beta? I'm running it and have been for quite some time now. Runs great here on my machine as well as my wife's machine, both 64-bit.

i have noticed some major issues. It detects explorer.exe as a virus and whenever threatfire is running, it wont let me open firefox.
when i uninstall threatfire, everything look fine. Dont know what's causing this issue. I also updated it to the latest version but no luck. I know its a good product but not working for me.

Really? Wow. Nope, none of that here. I don't use FF, but I have it installed and ran it without issue just a few seconds ago.

Very strange. You should post those issues over in their forum. They are very responsive and really want to hear about any issues:
