Suspected Malware from a divix download prompt through WMP

http://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...rent=popup.jpg

Ever since i went through with this download that i was prompted to do through Windows media player for DIVIX i get this extremely annoying popup that takes one of my displays and plays random videos from the web.
the one thing that is consistent is the little red "b" logo.
I have tried running AVG and another program called "Malewarebytes" but they didn't get rid of it.

I have also tried all the more basic ways of looking for anything under add remove programs to delete.

It would be really easy for me to format my computer but i wanna see if you guys can help first. thanks

first--download latest version of WMP (but do not install)--then--uninstall current version--restart machine--install downloaded version...and stay away from download prompts
