What he said. Heck, I don't like to use betas, period!
I'm not quite that strict. I am quite happy to use betas of non critical apps. I don't think I'm using any ATM but for a long time I was using the Chrome beta channel.
I'm not so much strict as chicken.
    Nonsense. You are an ostrich.

I installed the BETA on one of my test systems.
I help some people that are not tech oriented and I want to know as much as soon as possible about updates and what problems they might cause.
I would rather find a problem on my system than get a call from someone with problems that i have to try and fix remotely.
I feel better prepared to fix issues on my own PC, so i can do whatever it takes to fix it and learn.
I have System Images, backup data, etc.
I have recommended and installed MBAM for family and friends, and even given some a real-time license.
At this point I'm quite leary of any updates to someone else's PC, I've seen and heard of too many issues.
I would not install this or any BETA on my primary PC (i'm chicken).
I've had a system bricked by an MBAM update, i recovered from backups, but not everyone has reliable backups.

So, i guess in a way i painted myself into a corner, where it's in my own best interest to beta test MBAM.

I'm the same - and I get the impression that neither of us would be too keen to beta test Microsoft's Windows Updates either :)!

And I'm quite happy to let you (and anyone else) be the guinea pig.

One thing I have never understood about the activation of mbam premium is I must paste the key into the mbam box :/
It will no allow or will not activate by simply typing in the key
The id is okay to type in

What if the email is lost with the information

I'm a coward. The first thing I do when I get a key is to stash several copies of it on text files in multiple locations, such as in the program folder the program gets installed in, the folder I keep the program installation file in, and the folder I keep receipts and unlock codes in. Of course, all that gets backed up multiple times when I backup the HDD they are on.
