OR you just got their latest stable version.
I think that is way more likely.

I miss the old program...........very much.......Simple lightweight and effective.

New version is bloated and buggy as ****** stars.

I like the new version but it's the first time I have used the Pro version. Very tunable to my likes.

I'm using the latest V2 version and it's working well for me.
I just ordered another Lifetime license in case I need it.
    There are some still available

I found it on sale at the Egg, normal price ~40$, sale now ~30$.
You can try this link (post #2) to buy from MBAM for ~25$:

Maybe there are some still available.
I bought from the egg because I have an account...and I'm in US.

Thanks David I found a discounted lifetime Pro here https://www.antivirussales.com/ and a nice discount it was - running the first scan so should be interesting.

    Thanks for the tip off

PS some other nice gear in there too.

You're welcome and glad that helped.
From what I found in that site it looks like the Lifetime license can still be had for ~20$ !

I was surprised to find any are still available anywhere ...

    Nice find!
We're both testing Win 8 now and I'm also testing it in a VM to decide if I want to move my licensed copy.
I installed Ad-Aware AV (free) yesterday in the 8.1 VM to test drive it.
That AV is not listed in the report you linked, so now I have to install MBAM real-time to make sure it's compatible.

Yep that site was just so easy to use and if my memory is correct there are still 650 - odd licences to be had so I just might slip it in my Sandy Brigde too.
