    screen locking

I use Windows 7 64 bit. My provider is WildBlue dish. For a few months now, my screen locks to a blue page with a small icon in the middle that says lock. It's easy enough to unlock, but it's annoying and I don't know why it started doing this. I'm the only one in the house that uses the computer. I've tried various things in security, but can't get rid of this feature. Any suggestions?

Welcome to Seven Forums jb8484. Does the PC lock after a certain amount of inactivity? Do you use a screen saver? If so, you might try this:

Screen Saver Password Protection -Enable or Disable

Start> Control Panel> Appearance and personalization> Change screen saver> Untick On resume display login screen

See if that helps. If I am incorrect about what your PC is actually doing, please correct me.
