MS Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1

Explorer.EXE (capitalized)

Whenever i try to delete anything in program files (86) or program files, i get this as shown in the image (i had to take a pic because it wouldn't let me prtsc)

it also happens if i make a new folder on desktop then try and move it to program files

Something's not right is it?

Any help is appreciated

Thanks.

Hold on, wait, i just read another thread about this and it appears it may be because i have custom themes installed on my win 7, i also changed the start orb.

i did use a windows theme patcher

Is this a possibility?

Yes, it sounds like a possibility.

Changing the start orb means altering explorer.exe

So it was Windows 7 Start Button Changer v 2.6 which I have and seemed to cause the 'explorer.EXE'.

Changing the start orb to a custom one seemed to create the explorer.EXE issue (may have to restart after changing)

But using the Windows 7 Start Button Changer v 2.6 to reset it fixes it (with a restart again).

Its not really a major problem though, the small price for having a custom orb.

Thanks guys
