I could be wrong but I believe that Microsoft is trying to phaze out One Care in favor of providing the free Microsoft Security Essentials

BTW how are they handling the remaining subscriptions on One Care. Is Microsoft going to honor them till the end?

if i remember correctly one care did poorly in anti virus round ups.

I have no idea, I do get a lot of people emailing me (thinking i'm MS

) saying they are having trouble renewing their sub, some people have even been known to send their credit card info in the emails.

...anyhow I thought I read a bit back that Microsoft was going to honor the subs but I never pursued it farther...
