One thing people need to understand, is to keep Java updated, as well as their anti-virus and other critical/vulnerable applications such as Adobe, for another one! The bad guys are always working on ways to exploit users and add to their own 'pocket books'

Thanks again Jaycee I deleted Java a while ago when the article re it came up and haven't had a problem with running anything.

The Adobe updates well I thought I had signed up for them but haven't seen one fr ages. Perhaps I had better go check the site for version comparison.

Well I haven't had Java for some time now and nothing has baulked yet. I still use Adobe though it is pretty ok as long as it updates. My Kaspersky is always pinging Adobe for vulnerabilities though that is and has been my only concern.

That Foxit Gary does the thing work exactly and with all PDF stuff??

Having said that I am wondering id Adobe Flash can be replaced with something similar?

    Best PDF Reader
Have a look mate, it does what Adobe Reader does and doesn't keep bothering with updates. Adobe also has a lot of bloat in it, Adobe Updater, Adobe Air, etc.
I haven't heard of a Flash replacement though.

Ok I'll do just that and yes the bloat is tedious eh? I know it is all down to revenue but hey Adobe short of funds ??
