Help with the Ukash Virus Please

Hi. My laptop has recently gotten the Ukash Virus. It won’t let me start the laptop in any version of Safe Mode (either With Networking or With Command Prompt).

By reading some of the other posts on this site I think I need to download something called Windows Defender Offline? Is this right? If so then how do I go about installing it on to my laptop when I don’t have any access to anything but the virus screen? I have a USB Pen Dive that I can use.

Thanks in advance.

Do you have a Windows 7 install dvd, or system repair disc? You can create one on a healthy Windows 7 system System Repair Disc - Create
Boot from that CD/DVD and perform a system restore to a date/time before infection System Restore

Do you know whene you got infected? How do you know it is the ukash virus?

This tutorial will explain how to create the bootable media for WDO.

Windows Defender Offline

Two key points to bear in mind. The bootable media must be created on a machine that is not infected. And the machine used to create the media must have the same bit-ness as the infected machine. In other words, if your infected machine is 64-bit, then the machine used to create the media must also be 64-bit.

What happens if you start in "safe mode"? Tell exactly what happens.

You see a lot of drivers loading on screen, and last one is classpnp.sys?

Only thing to do is "system restore" to a date prior ot infection, so prior to 15 november.

power on your computer and tap F8 multiple times. You see a menu with "safe mode", "safe mode with networking" etc? "repair your computer" is also one of the options?

All I want you to do is System Restore
Create a system repair disc System Repair Disc - Create
Maybe a friend can make it or you can borrow it
Windows 7 installation disks can be found here Official Windows 7 SP1 ISO from Digital River « My Digital Life

First try the F8 trick to find option "repair your computer"
