Windows 7: Could someone give me a complete virus info ?

At my HOUSE .
 
 
Could someone give me a complete virus info ?

I copied a file on a friend's pc
but when I opened it all folders became .exe file and I can't open it .
and this happened all over my folders .
but I solved it through system restore

Could someone give me an info with this virus . I tried Googling it and nothing gave me a complete info and how it came into my USB and PC .

The file that you copied from your friend's computer could have already been infected. When you opened it on your computer the infection probably spread to your machine. I don't know the specific name of the virus or malware. But I would suggest you run several scans with different anti-malware products because no anti-malware product is 100% effective 100% of the time.

Something to remember is once a computer becomes infected there is no way to be absolutely sure that all traces of the infection have been removed. It could be buried so deep that all malware scans miss it. A lot of people suggest doing a clean install of the operating system and all installed programs.
