Firewall refuses to turn on/change recomended settings

Hello guys, my first post here, which means I am pretty desperate :'(

Below, you will see that I am Administrator~

And below this, you will see that my Firewall is being retarded!

And I read somewhere that the firewall would be somehow "linked/conected" or whatever. ( Absolutely no idea what I'm talking about)

Heres a picture of aviras firewall, which is gray:

    As for my system specs:
    Windows 7 Home Premium
    64bit
    8GB DDR
    1TB HDD
    ATI Radeon HD 5570

    Tia :):)

I know nothing about Avira but I suggest checking and see if Windows 7 built in Firewall is activated. It might stop the Avira Firewall from activating.

Avira Free AV doesn't have a firewall that I'm aware of. I believe it's grayed out because you have to upgrade to a paid version to get that feature. Check the W7 firewall service to see if it's running. Start > type services > Click on services > scroll down to windows firewall > right click on windows firewall > left click properties > make sure start up type is set to automatic > Click start if it is not running

I found a couple of links:

[Solved] Windows Firewall not in the services list, and not working - security - windows-7 (through this link I found the below link)

Error Code 0x80070424 with Windows Firewall and "Base Filtering Engine Service" Not available in services database list. - Microsoft Reduce Customer Effort Center - Site Home - TechNet Blogs

It looks like a malicious program might be the cause of this, so if I were you I would download/update/run full scan with Malwarebytes to see what may be present, click the free download button:

    Malwarebytes

    Report back with the results.

After you run MBAM, I would also run a scan with Hitman Pro even if MBAM comes back clean. Let's rule out malware before working on the firewall. If you aren't familiar with HMP, it is forever free to scan with, but if it finds something, you have to activate a 30 day free license to remove the malware. It's a little different than MBAM but well worth it.
