Trojan Ransomware Police Central e-crime Unit

hi we have had this issue with our computer where it was locked up by this virus at the time we did not know it was a virus and we paid the money , since then we have learned it was a scam and contacted the bank to cancel the card etc we have informed the bank and they have stopped the card but the £100 is waiting to go out , the bank said that the account is safe and that they cannot get any more money when they claim the £100 they will dispute the payment and get it back , they also said as it was paid by paypoint they cannot get any info from there as it is not on a computer system only hand held , when i ran Malwarebytes before it was causeing problems with bitdefender , at the moment we are on bitdefender as we have never had any problems untill now according to bitdefender this virus is a new version of a fbi ransom virus and they are updateing there systems,
when it happened we was on the net then the system locked , at the moment allthough bitdefender gave me a tool to get rid of this problem it is coming up with wgsdgsdgdsgsd.dll is missing ?? not sure if this is part of the virus or not , and woundering about formatting system or getting a different hard drive what do you think thanks for your help

See if this looks similar to what you have.

Remove the FBI MoneyPak Ransomware or the Reveton Trojan

If it is, print the instructions to follow them while in Safe Mode with networking.

Remove the Win32/Reveton or Police Central e-crime Unit Ransomware

i would try and download hitman pro,
i dont know if the kickstart feature is available on the trial version but it wont harm to try.
you will need a memory stick ,preferably a blank one as setting up kickstart will wipe the stick,

here is the link to the hitman pro kickstart page and the download links are there too.

Since Malware/Viruses have a bad habit of introducing other uninvited programs onto your system, it would be a good idea to run Windows Defender Offline just to be sure nothing else is hiding in your OS.

Be sure to make this on a clean PC as making it on an infected one can compromise WDO.
