| | MSE turned off Windows Defender My question is whether or not this is normal. More importantly, is it safe? Should I turn Defender back on manually or use just MSE? Thanks! |

| | MSE always turns off Defender. That way both are not running together. This is normal and nothing new. Disconcerting the first time you notice it.  Mike |
