AVAST! antivirus Buggy Auto Sandbox mode.

Help! I have problem with AVAST! Antivirus Auto Sandbox Mode. It is too sensitive. Some game files it won't open/let execute because of strange analyzing results which are NOT correct. If I disable this Sandbox totally do I put computer at risk for viruses.

Other question .Is this program useful on home networks:
Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer (MBSA) is an easy-to-use tool that helps small- and medium-sized businesses determine their security state in accordance with Microsoft security recommendations and offers specific remediation guidance. Improve your security management process by using MBSA to detect common security misconfigurations and missing security updates on your computer systems.

I used to use Avast! a while back. I think if you right-click the tray icon and disable the sandbox shield that it only disables the sandbox within the browser. I don't think it disables any other protection shields. Like I said, I haven't used the program for a while to know whether or not they have changed this functionality.

About MSBA, I've tried it, and it offers little value really. What it does is to check your current Windows configuration against "secure" values so that it suggest to set them that way. Sort of an optimizer suggestion, but about security. I tried it in a virtual machine, and threw it away hours latter.

Switch AutoSandbox from "Auto" to "Ask". Should be a fine compromise between having the sandbox on or off.

What is difference between "Auto" and "Ask" modes at AVAST! Sandbox?

Auto mode decides everything on it's own as to what programs get sandboxed based on the programmers design, while ask mode leaves it all up to you. Some like ask because they feel they're more in control, but you have to ask yourself, do you know more then the developers of avast? If you are confident you do, then ask might very well work great for you, but I would bet that auto would be a better choice.

Many game data files Sandbox stops because of false analyzes/alerts. This is my problem here. Even some game .EXE files trigger FALSE virus alerts on Sandbox.
