Also, adding to ICit2lol excellent advice, run all mentioned software in safemode.

Hum now trendy take a look in Program and Features and see if the Yontoo is listed. There is a few refs to it being a virus that highjacks the Google search so take a look at this and let us know what you come up with.

A thing to try would be the Revo Uninstaller as it will scour the registry for left over bits so in hindsight download this and run first.

Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems < free version if you run into difficulties doing this get back to us.

If that doesn't get rid of it then let us know as the next best thing is to hunt the thing down in the registry but we need to be ultra careful in there if you are not sure what to do. .

    Hi all.
Well I ran all superantispyware,ADW cleaner,Spybot,Also ran malwarebytes I have the pro version of that.
Went into programs installed I used the iobit uninstaller and deleted all latest installed programs.
I did down load a few days ago codecs for windows media player that may have been the culprit,I have been so careful when installing software watching out for sneaky addons this one must have been clever and slipped through the net.
Update at 06/01/2013 0850hrs,After all scans etc all looks well its gone.

Many thanks to all once again.

Well you dud well trendy I learnt the hard way too if it is of any consolation and am now really wary of those add on apps. Mind you you still need to be really vigilant as they seem to be getting ever more cunning or rather devious slipping those things in.

If you are interested to make your machine a little faster and easier to use try this Optimize Windows 7[2]=Performance Maintenance < totally safe and I know you lose a bit of the bling but I do all my machines and fixes with this tutorial.
