No longer an ADMIN in win 7

Hey guys I need some help yesterday I got a nasty virus. mcafee said it killed it but I am still having problems. Here is the problem MY main account thinks it's not an admin when it. I even turned on the hidden admin profile and no luck. The error I get is I am not an admin mainly. On both accounts. I also can't open Firefox (it just crashes) I can't run a system restore because It says I am not an admin and it needs to be turned on by an admin. I tried to run spybot but every time it installs it something deletes it and same with hijack this. Now before the problems started I did a windows back up of the computer (windows 7 back up) it's running now. So I am hoping this fixes the problem. If not what is plan B. I know the last plan is F-DISK and I really don't wanna do that if I can avoid it. Please any help would be great.

    **UPDATE**
that restore didn't fix anything. ANd now another problem If I install any anti-spyware progies something deletes them they run for about 10 seconds then get deleted. Mcafee is not finding any virus's what's up?

    Thanks

    Hi pieman,

You might want to try Repair Install, and you wont lose any files in the process

    Hope it helps :)

Your system has been compromised .. The only logical option is to format and reinstall the OS.. Educate yourself in safe practices to avoid future infections... Good Luck...

Ya I thought i installed an anti virus when I installed 7 but I guess I didn't. I just installed one last week. I hate it when I do that. So only other step is F-Disk?
