Windows 7: MSE Scheduled Scans not working

MSE Scheduled Scans not working

I have my Microsoft Security Essentials set to scan every week. It keeps failing to do so and giving me a warning that I haven't run a scan in a while. I require the computer to be on, but in use is okay. Does it not consider "sleep" on?
