Malware Infection

    Malware Infection


    hello everyone,
    got a problem here, i use Avast! Free AV and Malwarebytes free,
    i already scan everything and nothing was detected,
    but once in a while Avast always detect this malware infection

    Infection Details

    Infection:URL:Mal

    anyone have a suggestion ?

    This is related to BetterSoft adwares, that are installed together with shareware/freeware programs (like converters, downloaders, etc). The installer is trying to update or install the adware and is blocked by Avast. An example of their adware is Save By Click - http://www.2-viruses.com/remove-savebyclick.
    As the installer is not a trojan, it is not properly detected by mbam and Avast.
    It might be handled by Adwcleaner, Spybot S&D or Spyhunter.

    If that URL is causing even an adware problem, might I suggest you stop it from being a clickable link ?

    Download and run malwarebytes look down the bottom left of the page for the Free download link.

    Other suggested software to clean your system:

    Norton Power Eraser

    If these along with the above suggested tools fail to clean your system, make a copy of Windows Defender Offline on a clean PC (Not on the infected one) and run it.
