Just for information.
Malwarebytes 1.7 and Bitdefender AV Free - Malwarebytes Forum
I use MSE, Kinsgsoft Antivirus 2012 an Superantispyware pro on some machine and Malwarebytes Pro on others (there are some that do not play nice with Superantispyware Pro)
Spywareblaster 4.6
Windows Firewall
I use a primary antivirus (Avast) and an additional one: Smadav Antivirus.
Smadav is a free and, very, very light antivirus which is purposely made as a second protection for your system. It's an Indonesian local antivirus, and I have to admit, it works very good with any antivirus out there. here's the link: Smadav Antivirus 2013 but the website is in Indonesian, shamely.. (the application itself uses English, don't worry, you can choose). I would suggest Smadav to be installed along with your choice of antivirus (anything). It's specialized for USB devices, but it also protects your system fully with its deep scanning which usually would catch something that another antivirus failed to. :)
MSE, MBAM Pro and common sense when surfing online work best for me. I have tried several other AV programs, including a paid "suite". I had problems with Avast and Norton. I always come back to MSE. It works best on my system, works perfectly well with MBAM Pro and it is designed to integrate with my OS. MSE and MBAM are both extremely light on resources too.
