I've been hitting all kinds of firewalls (including the Windows 7 firewall) with Comodo LeakTest suite and the scores make for some interesting results. Here's the Windows 7 firewall in its default state on a "home" network.
In comparison, the paid version of Online Armor scored 320, Kerio 80 and Rising F/W 180. IIRC, the Windows XP firewall scored 50 which isn't bad for something that offers uni-directional monitoring, let alone advanced features like HIPS.
Is anyone using the latest firewalls (or ISSs) from Norton, Avira and the rest?
The test suite is available out here
. Your A/V might give you a warning about a file named coat.dll but that file is necessary to test any leaks in your security setup and is rather harmless.
