The F4 is hard drive related . Do you have a second hard drive plugged in ?

Can I see an image of msconfig's startup tab

Click on the button type msconfig press enter . If you get the UAC window press yes . Once the System Configuration window comes up click on the Startup tab . Press Alt and PrntScrn or CTRL and PrntScrn .

Yes, I have two hard drives. I wanted to be cool and keep Windows on a 40GB SSD for dem boot times and then I have a 1TB HHD for the storage of everything.

Added: Yeah, sure. Here's a picture of it. The microsoft guy went ahead and disabled everything.

Everything like your profile or everything and backup images ? Hmm do you have a diagnostic disc from your 1TB hard drive manufacture ? If not let me know who it is and I will get you the software .

Um, I don't really understand the question VistaKing, sorry. By everything I mean like..most of my programs, and everything like E:/Music and E:/Downloads and what not...? I don't know if that answers your question. No, I'm afraid I don't have that disk, but the manufacturer is Western Digital. It's model number is WD1001FALS 1TB 7200 RPM if that helps.

Alrighty, I got the program and have it doing the extended scan of my E drive. It's estimating that it will take about 2.5 hours, so I don't think I'm going to stay up to post the results. As always! Thanks for your help again.

You guys have been helping so much. For the first time I can remember in a while, I turned my computer back on from sleep this morning and was just able to use it.

Anyway, I used your advice KingVista and called Mushkin. They had a very capable guy there direct me to download and install a new firmware (it was a bit confusing; that website I linked you to worked for all Callisto drives, except for ones sold over a year ago and I had to check my version of IRT (Intel Rapid Storage Technology) to make sure it wasn't going to conflict with the Mushkin update software. o.O)).

So, long story short I got new firmware for my SSD and there's nothing wrong with the E drive.

Zibeltor,

Glad it has all worked out for you.

It is a good thing you hung in there through all kinds of instructions to do this, or do that.

Some people just want an immediate fix, and that is not always possible.

Good luck!!

Yeah I'm pretty excited. I'm going to hold off on clicking the resolved button until I know it can run a full 24 hours without a BSOD though. Haha, I've gotten my hopes up too many times before :P
