MSE detected Obfuscator.xz NBA 2k13

I recently ran a scan w/ MSE and came back w/ a hit for Virtool win32 Obfuscator.xz. MSE was unable to quarantine or remove it. I found what I think were the infected files and deleted/recycle bin them. (virus2.png)
It was a "cracked" game iso. I noticed under uninstall programs that the nba2k13 was still there and that I was unable to uninstall it. It has no size to it, so I'm not sure if this is just a "skeleton".(nba2k13 ChangeRepair) Notice I can only change or repair it. Reading further I've found that some "cracked" items use Obfuscator to hide itself from AVs for reasons of legality.
I uninstalled Power ISO and Daemon Tools Lite. I am currently having the same problem as Quadra and I was directed to making my own thread about it. The Obfuscator.xz is also shown to be in my NBA 2k13 files and so far I have run AdwareCleaner and am about to get hijackthis as a lot of people seem to use it. If anyone has any further instructions please help, thanks. | My System Specs |

TheSherminator,
What AntiVirus are you using?
Let's cut to the chase and run the ESET Online Scanner: http://www.eset.com/us/online-scanner-popup/
First, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus.
Info: How To Temporarily Disable Your Anti-virus, Firewall And Anti-malware Programs - BleepingComputer.com
Taking this action allows for ESET to run a little faster.
If possible, use Internet Explorer for this scan.
Right-click on the IE icon in the Start Menu and select: Run as Administrator
Go here to run the Scan: ESET Online Scanner
Accept the Terms of Use, then click on: Start
When prompted, allow the Add-On/Active X to install.
Under Scan Settings, make sure that the option Remove found threats is not checked, and the option Scan Archives is checked.
(We need to make sure there are no crucial system files removed! Sometimes scans take a Windows file in their sweep, and then there is a problem bigger than what you had before.)
Click on Advanced Settings and select the following:
Scan for potentially unwanted applications
Scan for potentially unsafe applications
Enable Anti-Stealth Technology
Now, click on: Start
The virus signature database begins to download. (This make take some time.)
Next, the Online Scan begins automatically.
Please do not touch the Mouse or keyboard during the scan, otherwise it may stall.
When the scan completes, click: List Threats
Please copy and provide the information presented in your reply. If the report is large, please attach.
(If no malware is found, a list is not presented.)
Click the Back button, and then click the Finish button. Notes:
1. Quarantined files are stored in the folder: \Local settings\Application data\ESET\ESET NOD32 Antivirus\Quarantine
2. Make sure you re-enable your Anti-Virus | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Home Premium |

@ Vistaking, Ahhhh!!...I remember when HijackThis was created by a fellow called Merijn, years ago. At that time, that was pretty much the scanner all the malware community worked with. Jacee would know, but I am an old dog, and she is not. The Obfuscator.xz NBA 2k13 files are not there. VirTool:Win32/Obfuscator are detections for programs that have their purpose obfuscated or beclouded to hinder analysis or detection by security scanners. If all the files on the HJT log are removed, the computer will not function. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Home Premium |

@ CottonBall ,
I didn't advise the member to run HijackThis . I would rather advise them to run MSS ( Microsoft Safety Scanner ) . TheSherminator is the 3rd person this week with that virus once again probably got it from downloading a game . | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit & Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit CPU Intel Core i7 CPU 950 @ 3.07GHz Motherboard ASUS P6T DELUXE V2 Memory OCZ 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 OCZ3X1600R2 Graphics Card ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series Sound Card OnBoard Keyboard Microsoft Wireless Laser Keyboard 7000 Mouse Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 PSU CORSAIR 850w Case NZXT LEXA Cooling Intel Stock Heatsink Fan Hard Drives WD6400AACS-00M3B0 (640GB SATA ) |

@Vistaking,
Much rather cut to the chase with ESET. It is very thorough, and has proven that it can deal with win32/obfuscator.
The track record found for the Microsoft Safety Scanner is:
Microsoft Safety Scanner found VirTool:Win32/Obfuscator.xx but could not remove it.
Microsoft Safety Scanner scans win32/obfuscator.xx and quarantines it, but, it keeps coming back! | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Home Premium |

Finished running ESET scan, i uploaded the results as an image. And just a clarification, I am a man and I am not very adept at this computer stuff. And also yes, @VistaKing, I ran the tool and the uninstall box was greyed out. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit Antivirus MSE Browser Firefox |
