Windows 7: PC PRO antivirus tests

Having three Windows 8 and two Windows 7 all running win defender/ security essentials I was somewhat disturbed to read the latest PC PRO antivirus tests. The free Microsoft antivirus came a dismal last although it must be said that the best were all paid for items. I am only using the Microsoft av because of recent favourable comments in the pc press. I haven't had any trouble so far so am I being overpessimistic?

I think you hit the nail on the head when you stated the best where all paid programs I use MSE and Windows Firewall with never any problems so far any how . I don't pay much attention to any PC reviews the best way to find out about any thing related to your computer is being here on Windows 7 Forum.

You can read 10 different AV tests & see 10 different results. Take it with a grain of salt.
