Well I am running KIS 2013 too and mine just block stuff with the config I have on it so of course if you think about it isn't going to show up a lot of stuff.

Now in that techsupport reference in point 4.5 are a fair few on call scanners try some of those - one you will see is Bitdefender is not going to cost anything anyway and you do not have to install them just create a Downloads icon on your desktop and run them from that. Thats what I do it's easy.

You probably know but Start / type downloads > right click send to desktop anything you downland for whatever reason is right at hand.

Ok mate probably the Kaspersky not liking the Bitdefender have you run this one yet
    Kaspersky TDSSKiller - CNET Download.com

It is from CNet which I don;t like to do but the server fro Kaspersky must still down as I cannot get a direct link from there so just watch for those wretched addons like Askbar etc and free scans etc don't tick anything you just need to run the TDSS.

    Good idea, ICit2lol!

Anak, got it, and instructions to make sure the right thing is done.

    gopu2013,

Please go this route with the program:

    Download TDSSKiller.zip:
    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/tdsskiller/
Right-click the program and select: Extract to tdsskiller\

A TDSSKiller folder is found on your Desktop.

Open the folder, and double-click the TDSSKiller application.

When TDSSKiller opens, click on: Change Parameters
Under Additional Options, place a check in the box next to: Detect TDLFS File System
    Click: OK

    Press: Start Scan

If a suspicious object is detected, the default action is Skip, leave it as is, and click on: Continue
If malicious objects are found, they show in the Scan results.
Ensure Cure (the default) is selected, then click: Continue > Reboot now, to finish the cleaning process.
(Note: If Cure is not available, select Skip, >>Do not select: Delete<<)

When done, the tool outputs its log to the disk with the Windows Operating System, normally C:\

    Logs have a name like:
    C:\TDSSKiller.X.X.X_08.04.2013_15.31.43_log.txt

    >>Please post the TDSSKiller log in your reply.<<

Hi, It seems like your computer's permissions are getting overwritten completely so you have no access to anything.

Thanks Anak and cottonball I didn't think of bleeping as I usually get it from Kaspersky direct now it has been three days running it will not load up.

I might just ask out local fellows what the go is but at least it can go ahead eh?:)
