Remove driver detective with Revo Uninstaller . Make sure you select all on the left over registry keys it locates and click on delete then do the same with the files and folders

I forgot about it scanning for leftovers - still still scanning reg. and drive - probably take a while for d-link removal to complete.

That is part of a rootkit .

Did you scan your PC with MBAR ?

Ah could be a x64-bit software take a look at the link below to remove it

Driver Detective Uninstall Instructions

Note   Note
RevoUninstaller Pro which is a 30 day trial could remove 32-bit and 64-bit programs while the free version of RevoUninstaller could only see 32-bit programs

Sound Blaster
My sound chip on my motherboard seem to have gone kaput, got a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE. Apparently it don't work with Win7, yet its all right on my Vista partition. Trying to find a driver that will make it compatible with 7. Anyone had that problem.
