Is there someone hacking into my PC?

I attach the copies of the Windows firewall screens which show that the public networks is connected. Active public networks are 2: Broadband 2 and Unidentified network. This is when my PC is connected to the internet via wireless modem. When my modem is unplugged it displays that the public network is connected but there are no active networks. My question is this.... Is there someone hacking into my PC as it appears as if my PC identifies that someone is connected or is this a normal display in the Windows firewall screen?

Make sure your router or Gateway's firewall is turned on.

Keep the Win7 firewall on and updated. Use a lightweight performance AV like Microsoft Security Essentials.

But if you're regularly infected buy the Real Time Protection from Malwarebytes. Otherwise use its on-demand scanner for periodic scans. You can engage a 30 day trial of the Real Time.

Thanks Greg. Does it look like someone is hacking into my PC? I am a specialist inventor so I really need to know. Many thanks, Regards Anthony

If you've followed the advice given, read the links provided, and did what was suggested by them then you should be o.k. Read up on security and keep your head down
