Windows defender and Windows Firewall missing

I haven't really had an issue with this before that i noticed, but i had AVG 2012 professional for the longest time and forgot to disable the firewall on it before uninstalling, i recently fixed that issue today and it's not showing that as an issue anymore when i run Microsoft Fix it. The firewall would show an error then but now it just shows an hourglass on my mouse and does nothing. I downloaded FSS and here is a copy of my log i would appreciate any help i can get, thank you kindly. Also in my services I don't have Windows Event Controller. Thank you!

Hello dkdakota and welcome to Seven Forums.

Try running the AVG removal tool as per the instructions provided:

AVG | Download tools and utilities

Next, check for any damaged or corrupt Windows 7 system files by running a System File Checker scan. Run the scan from an elevated command prompt (option two) and if problems are found, run the scan at least 3 times. Reboot the computer immediately after each scan.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
