AVG 9 or Avast 5?

Avast has good AV benchmarks, but the interface takes some getting used to...

I too saw that AVG was a little heavy on resources and doesn't scan for rootkits...

Well this thread isnt really about other choices

You're probably talking about the older version (4.8). The new beta v5 looks great and has a straightforward interface.

I guess you still havent tried the AVG 9 version. Its much improved now.
