They are adware, don`t download anything asking you to speed up your pc.

    Hi there,

Yes these are adware. I would remove this right away if I was you and then scan my PC with the free tools MalwareBytes and Spybot to make sure they have not left anything behind.

If you really want to speed up your computer get rid of Mcafee,
How to uninstall or reinstall supported McAfee products using the Consumer Products Removal tool (MCPR)
    Use these instead,
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/products/security-essentials

Malwarebytes Pro is a fraction of the price of Mcafee,
    http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free
Then use the free version of this as well for even more ways to clean your machine,

I am not a fan of PC speed up software in general. Most do little that is useful and many are worse than useless. PC Speedup is often considered malware.

I agree with the others here.... get rid of them. Just adware anyway. Most of these "programs" do more harm than good. I would also suggest ANYTHING,practically, instead of Spybot. Malwarebytes and Superantispyware are my personal recommendations.

Their is not magic speed up tools for Windows 7 what ever name they call them. Windows 7 doesn't want them or need them.

If you want to speed up your computer I would suggest removing McAfee using their online tool. I have never seen anybody on this Forum recommending McAfee.

Then install this. It's free from Microsoft.
Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows

Then let us know how things are working. I also highly recommend this.
Malwarebytes : Malwarebytes Anti-Malware removes malware including viruses, spyware, worms and trojans, plus it protects your computer
    Also this.

Then update all of them and run complete scans and let us know how things are going. I know this is kind of a repeat post of the others but it's very important and we do need a post back.

A while back there was an article about a lab that tested some of these "speed up your PC" programs. (Sorry, don't have the link anymore). While most of them did nothing, some of them did actually speed up the PC, but the amount of time saved was negligible (A few seconds at best) & in some cases, these programs can actually damage Windows to the point of it not booting.

Get rid of McFubar (McAfee) & I'm sure you will notice a increase in performance.
