Getting rid of Babylon Search, Qv06.com and Delta-Search Spyware

Neither Babylon Search, Conduit Search, Delta-Homes.com, Delta-Search.com, Findwide.com, Headline Alley Toolbar, Mixi.DJ, Quo6.com, snap.do, Softronic Search, V9 Redirect Virus or 2 of 7 are on the list of programs installed on my computer. They were found on my computer by Spy Hunter but weren´t found by scans by Malwarebytes or Windows Essential. Spy Hunter is too expensive! What can I do. Thank you, Dres

    Welcome to the forums!

First, I'm pretty sure that "Spy Hunter" is the actual malware here. When did you run it and why? Do you have underlying problems? Try running Malwarebytes in "Safe" mode as a start. I'd strongly suggest removing anything pertaining to Spy Hunter myself. Using Revo Uninstaller in Advanced mode to root out every last trace.

Have you tried installing Superantispyware ? You can install it and run a full scan and see what it comes up with

    Download AdWareCleaner AdwCleaner Download
or from here Téléchargements - Outils de Xplode - AdwCleaner
    to your desktop
1.Right-click on adwcleaner.exe and select Run As Administrator to launch the application.
    2.Click on Delete button.
    3.Confirm each time with OK.
4.Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart. Please post the content of that logfile in your reply.
Note: You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[Sn].txt as well - n is the order number.

After doing this, download TFC by Old Timer TFC - Temp File Cleaner by OldTimer - Geeks to Go Forums and save it to your desktop.
Save any unsaved work. TFC will close ALL open programs including your browser!
Double-click on TFC.exe to run it. If you are using Vista/Windows 7 right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator.
Click the Start button to begin the cleaning process and let it run uninterrupted to completion.
Important! If TFC prompts you to reboot, please do so immediately. If not prompted, manually reboot the machine anyway to ensure a complete clean.

Thanks. I´ve gotten rid of SpyHunter, ran Malwarebytes in a Safe mode and downloaded Gary Utilities that was recommended by cnet editors. I ran a one-click scan by all of it´s tools which includes malware. It found nothing. Is Webcake a virus or a spyware? Thanks again. Dres

    Webcake is Adware

WebCake 3.0 is an adware program that displays coupons, advertisements and sponsored links via a pop-up box on Ebay, Amazon, Walmart and other shopping websites that you are visiting.

WebCake is an extension for Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome that is typically added when you install another free software (video recording/streaming, download-managers or PDF creators) that had bundled into their installation this adware program.
How to remove WebCake virus (Uninstall Guide)

Glary Utilities is generally used for clean up purposes.

The link that Jacee gave you to AdwCleaner should take care of it as well as the other listed problems.

There's a good chance that Spy Hunter is more then likely listing these fake infections to get you to fork over some $$$$ to clean up your system.

Malwarebytes, MSE & many other programs are free & you do not need to pay for an effective malware/AV scanner, unless you choose to do so, as in the case of Malwarebytes, which offers a pay-for option that enables other features it offers, such as active scanning.

SpyHunter is a rogue :P. Never fall for it again. I was tricked by it in 2010 on youtube that it is a genuine program. Well, it somehow enabled my task manager in windows vista :O.

We people are not against your company. Just because that it has a "browser hijacker" like instinct and loads of adware and spyware, we won't fall for your tools again. You guys need to stop advertising on good sites like seven forums to make people think that it is a legitimate program and improve yourself!
